Hello everyone,
I’ve been very sick since yesterday morning… it started after eating some goat cheese of which I was unaware of being pasteurized as the lady I got it from accidentally gave me the wrong order.. I got sick within 10mins of eating it and so I think it is this that is the cause.. by early afternoon I started vomiting which continued nearly every half hour to every hour until I was dry heaving mucus and it did not end until 3AM… by which point I was so thirsty I just downed a quart of water shortly after and surprisingly I haven’t thrown up since though the water does not really feel as though it is settling well.. I think my electrolytes are really off as I’m getting bad cramps in my legs. I don’t have any mineral water yet but I think that would help and might be better than regular water.. with maybe some fresh ginger juice. I tried taking some French green clay and that helped a little.. I need some suggestions to get some electrolytes back into me and what to eat…as I’ve never once been sick like this since back in my cooked food days. I don’t know what Aajonus suggests as I lent all of his books to a friend.. so I don’t even have that to look up.
Honey doesn’t settle well in my stomach normally.. so I don’t dare try that. A small amount of green apple juice, green pineapple or green papaya juice diluted in some water sounds like a possibility.. maybe even a little ACV… Egg whites also sound good for their saltiness and would maybe help bind to some of the toxins.. though I don’t think I can handle any fats right now… Kefir would probably be good later down the road but considering it was dairy that made me ill the thought of it is not very appealing at the moment.. Has anyone tried vegetable juice after being sick like this and what kind…or would that make detox even worse?
I’m open to any suggestions…
