deep orangish-yellow yolk propped utop a
plump transparent pillow of pure protein
awaits my anticipating lips

sucking in the tranparent pillow
the yolk unravels from its happy home

pillow becomes liquid
as i swish and push through my teeth
unlocking beautiful nourishment
i swallow

i engulf the rich yolk
breaking the membrane
releasing a thick creamy vanilla dessert
